巴国油寻求取消钻井船和生产船合同

据国外媒体6月2日里约热内卢报道，巴西国家石油公司日前取消了其与巴西海上工程企业莎茵集团麾下莎茵油气公司签署的钻井船和生产船租约。

莎茵油气公司计划起诉巴国油以期恢复合同。如果取消被认可，它将涉及两艘钻井船和两个生产平台，莎茵油气公司将因此蒙受巨大的损失。

由于缺乏支付债权人的资金，莎茵油气公司的上述钻井船和生产船早在今年年初就已停止为巴国油服务。两家公司重新谈判了有关债务，债务有望减少10亿美元。

当莎茵油气公司通知这些钻井和生产船已做好为巴国油服务的准备工作时，巴国油取消了这些租约。

Petrobras seeks to cancel drilling and production vessel contracts

RIO DE JANEIRO – Petrobras has canceled leases with Schahin Petroleo e Gas SA on drilling and production vessels. Schahin plans to sue Petrobras to reinstate the contracts. If the cancellation is upheld, it will cover two drillships and two production platforms.

Schahin had already taken the vessels out of service to Petrobras earlier in the year, lacking funds to pay a creditor. The companies renegotiated the debt, reducing it by $1 billion. When Schahin notified Petrobras the vessels were ready for service, Petrobras canceled the leases.
